I don’t think it’s as simple as throwing the heaviest stuff off the life raft first. I just don’t. It’s more complicated than that. Jeff Cooper’s not a misogynist for dumping Athletica instead of dumping AC St. Louis. For all we know, ACSTL could be next, and then it won’t really matter in what order it all happened, will it?

If a company has layoffs, they don’t always make value judgments like “Well, you were hired first, you’re performing better at a higher level and for less money. Financially, you’re easier to save.” Business judgments aren’t always made like that. It’s a complex matrix.
